Conducive Environment

Situated and bordering the Indian Ocean, its environs receive a cool breeze from the seas with fresh air from ancient trees and sea plants like the mangrove. The ancient trees are an attraction of wildlife of the monkey species as well as an experience of the marine life. The Universities’ proximity to public transport and central business district (CBD) gives it an advantage for your ease of accessing higher education.

Accommodation

There are six hostels in the main campus with a total bed capacity of 800 students. The proximity of the hostels to the administration and tuition area and security make the place a preferred place to stay. The limited bed capacity provided by the hostels is supplemented by a number of privately run hostels near the main campus. A team coordinated from the department periodically assesses the quality and standards of the hostels and advises students seeking accommodation accordingly. Conversely the team advises the management of the private hostels on the standards expected of their facilities.

Catering

The main kitchen and dining hall primarily serve the students that reside in the university hostels on a pay-as-you-eat basis. The dining hall also serves clients on a pre-paid arrangement and serves a variety of foods at very competitive prices.
