Admission to the Technical University of Mombasa is competitive and based on merit. Minimum requirements vary by level and programme. Always confirm the specific cluster requirements for your chosen programme.
Certificate
KCSE mean grade D (plain) or equivalent, plus any subject requirements specified for the programme.
Diploma
KCSE mean grade C- (minus) or a relevant certificate, with the specified subject clusters.
Undergraduate
KCSE mean grade C+ (plus) and the cluster subject requirements, or a relevant diploma for credit transfer.
Postgraduate
A relevant Bachelor's degree (Second Class or better) from a recognised university; some programmes require relevant experience.
